I could deal with "handsome". Yes, he's a handsome man. But they had to say "hot", in that I-checked-out-his-butt way. EW. I just gave myself the total heebie-jeebies mentioning someone checking out my dad's butt.

Wanna know something funny in that "I wish I'd never thought of it" way? My stepmom is one of those "ultimate Grandma" types, a sweet New Age Healing Touch/Reiki practitioner with long white hair, the kind who wears clothing in jewel tones and always has cake in the house. A true sweetie.

A couple of years ago my sister asked me if I'd noticed that my dad and stepmom have a MIRRORED CEILING over their bed. And we both screamed.
