AD: Two Hollow Beads... - Tink

What a day! I stayed up as late as I could last night torching. It was fabulous! I finally had to call it quits, not because I was done, by any means, but because I had to stop in time for the annealing cycle to finish before Donna arrived this morning to ship stuff.

All but three beads/vessels were sold before the kiln was opened this morning! YAY!!!! So it was a busy shipping day. Plus we got in two glass orders that had to be cut and sorted.

Speaking of which, I got some of the odd lot Amber Rose... OMG. I can't wait to play with this!!!!!!!

There are two hollow beads on my site tonight, as I was finally able to snap a couple of pics. These are similar to my work earlier this week, but in cool tropical colors. Not what you typically see from me.

I hope you like them!

I love them both! It's great you sold everything before you opened the kiln. What a feeling!

pretty :) but I loved those black, orange, coral, yellow, red ones from a couple days ago!!! They were awesome!

And Tink I wanted to let you know the Tink Necklace just sold - it's had several admirers and now it's gone... people loved it :)

Like them? I loved them! I saw them last night, but I was falling asleep so I marked this message unread so I could come back today, look at them again, and comment... but now they're GONE! Lol!

Anyway, I just wanted to say... Yeah, baby, WOW! I'm more of a brights kind of person, and those two beads really sang to me, especially the blue one with the drizzles. Gorgeous! :)

Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a completely different palette for me... These are the colors I felt compelled to use after I vanquished my horrible headaches this past week.

More are coming, as I have the WHOLE DAY AND NIGHT to play today! Weeeeee!

That's wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My babies all grown up and out on their own. LOL!

More of the black/orange/coral etc coming tomorrow. I have all day and night to melt stuff today. Two new shipments of glass... OMG Amber Rose is to die for!!! I can't wait to get started.

The other day, I did a beautiful little vessel in the flame colors, but it was pre-sold so I didn't take any pics. It went out yesterday, and I MISS IT.... Isn't that WEIRD!!! I usually have pics I can look at, but this little creation is gone forever :-( I might try doing another...

Oh good, maybe I'll get a chance to get one before they are all sold this time!

I don't think it's weird at all - I get a little sad every time I package up a necklace and ship it out... even when I know they are going to a good home - my Belize Blues Chunky Monkey Necklace just went to a beautiful blonde with blue eyes that match the necklace - it's going to look so pretty on her so I'm happy about that, but sad because I just loved those beads...

"Passion of the Flame" needs to be worn alone, on a long silver chain, with a low-cut red dress. By me. In the tropics. Did I mention a low-cut dress?

A gentleman would have to lean in close to examine the intricacies of that bead.

Wooohoooo! Let's see... Kalera could be the model for my website, and we'd have to do a location shoot somewhere in the tropics.... Sound good?

Now who would we choose for the gentleman... Hmmmmm....

Well, Johnny Depp, of course!

Speaking of beads and my cleavage, Moxley found quite a reflection of me on one of my sets... OH MY GOD how did I let that slip past me???

Damn, that boy is hot in "Pirates."

However, I am not allowed to say so - because DD has the biggest crush on Johnny Depp, and "It's just gross if your mom thinks the same guy is hot. Moms aren't supposed to look at guys like that. Ewwwww."

Uh-huh, just wait until she's a mom. I might be old (to DD), but I sure ain't blind.

Heh. I was out with Blair at the mall, and there was something slinky in the window at Victoria's Secret. I said, "Hmmm... I bet Russ would like that." Her reaction was much the same. Kids that age have a *lot* of trouble dealing with the thought of their parents as sexual beings.
