Ahhh, but once you learn beadweaving, you'll be hooked. It's not instant gratification by any means; but oh! the things you can make. Once I made my first little peyote basket (which still sits on my nightstand and holds my earplugs), I was hooked.

I just saw an incredible Indian seed beaded door hanging, and am trying desperately to NOT add it to my international project. It could be gorgeous, but it would take years.

It's so true... and because I have absolutely no idea how one makes such things, I look on PC work almost as some kind of magic. Here is how it goes inside my head:

  1. Someone with awesome powers takes this plastic clay, and
  2. Uses THEIR FINGERS to somehow mysteriously create patterns
  3. Turns the intricate patterns into beads. With holes and everything.

???

This may as well be sorcery, as far as I'm concerned. I have some polyclay beads, and I regard them with total amazement.

OK, that last post was NOT what I meant to do!

I was gonna ask whether it was a Nortel Minor, because Minors are supposed to work fine on house pressure. I haven't tried it out yet, though.
