I think, if I were her, I'd down play that. It suggests 30 years as a lampwork artist, which, while she may be technically skilled, is not reflected.

Kind of like my skiing. I started skiing when I was 3 y.o. but never had lessons. So while I could say, at 15, that I had 12 years of skiing, I was still not a particularly skillful skier. Though I was both very safe and could also get anywhere I had to be -- if without grace.
