LBS in Baltimore Area?

Does anyone have any personal recommendations for a LBS in Baltimore? Or anywhere on the road between Northern VA, DC to Baltimore? I can get DH to stop, but since we have time constraints and a destination, I don't know about going too far out of the way....

Gracias

There is a branch of Beadazzled in Baltimore, a short drive from the Inner Harbor. In fact, it is my favorite of all the Beadazzled's I've been to. Lots of glass beads, separated by color. Very friendly service. Closed Monday I think. Parking on street in front of the store. Patti

There's a bead store in Northern Va called Star's. It's in Vienna. I haven't been there myself (I live in MD) but Marilee has recommended it before. There's also a bead store in Rockville called Theodora's which I like a lot. It's on the small side, but she has a lot of pretty stuff. Both of these stores have websites if you need directions or more infomation.

I went to Star's Beads for the first time last week. I was taking a class at the Art League School in Old Town and mentioned to one of my classmates that I had been to Beadazzled that afternoon. The teacher piped in to let me know that Star's has everything Beadazzled has but with better prices. When I got there I found that Star's also has a lot MORE stuff than Beadazzled. Doesn't have that "high-end" feel (Beadazzled is at the Tysons Mall, after all), but it's got a great selection and good prices (I guess Star doesn't have the "high-end" overhead!). They also give lots of classes there. There was a lampworking class going on while I shopped. I wanted to just sit down and join in so bad. But alas! had to get back to work ....

LOL. Ok, well if I promise not to go psycho, maybe you can put me on your future travel plans?

Or maybe we meet in St. Louis next July. AOL beaders were (and maybe still are) planning a Bead Cave in St. Louis. Now that we are all over the place, we can invite everyone else to join us too.

We call it Bead Me in St. Louis.

yep, that was the plan! Now that I think of it, it might be early June, not July. Too darn hot in July. And we hear there are six bead stores in St. Louis, too!
