new cat necklace

A friend and her brother wanted me to make a cat necklace for his wife, for Christmas, who works with a cat rescue program. They just wanted lots of cat heads. My only problem is the heads turn, but it doesn't bother me so much because there's so many on there. I think it would bother me if there were just a couple (been there, done that).

They want to get it tomorrow, so I'm thinking that if she doesn't like the heads turning, I can take it back and wire each head and make it more like a link-chain style, to keep the heads in place.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Would the heads turning around bother you?

The only one I would be concerned about is the one at the bottom. But I'm pretty easy to please, mostly. Barbara Dream Master

As you say, with that many, having a few turned around isn't going to be much of an issue. *Some* of them will always be face-forward!

Try sitting 11 cats down to take their photo. What's the chance that all 11 will be facing the camera all of the time? Your beads have merely captured the *true* feline essence.

The one at the bottom doesn't turn! It's just the ones going up the side.

Beads turn, that's their nature. Real Cats are always in motion anyway, at least mine is. I have a sculptural necklace with cat beads by Lily Steele on the side and a one of Mavis' Smith's wizards on the bottom. The cats turn and people are always asking to see them closer, or sometimes if they are dogs (not cat people). I actually enjoy the attention! Patti
