What would you think would make it un-boring? I like how the colors flash across the letters. I also really like the mouseover-paws on the eBay link :o) I think it would have more impact if you had a border of a background on your site, instead of just a solid white background (you can see what I mean by clicking on my Hippobottomus link below). It would frame the logo, and make it stand out more.

I like it. It's clean and simple. I love the simplicity of MAWGA's site/logo, and also Michael Barley's. And I like yours. I especially like the dignity of your cat; that it isn't cutesy.
