OT: Good news, finally

HAH. I've had sinus issues all my life, and I had my adenoids and tonsils removed when I was four. (Day after Christmas, too - it really sucked rocks)

Apparently they didn't get all of the tissue, and my tonsils have partially regrown, and my sinuses are still terrible. I agree with you about the saline washing - it's the best solution I've found, although I always break out the antibiotics at the hint of an infection. With a compromised immune system (long term steroids), I don't dare take a chance.

P.S.: Did I tell you guys the story about my escape from the hospital? If not, I'll have to type it in - it's one of Manda's favorites.

OK, that's *really* good to hear! I sort of blew mine off for the last 7 years, because it wasn't bothering me and I figured that if it hadn't grown yet, it wasn't going to. Then I started getting headaches and kinda freaked out! :) I feel a lot better about it now, and I'm also glad to hear that it's unusual for them to change, because my doctors made it sound like I really needed to keep my eye on it (so to speak).

Thank you for the comforting info!
