My son and his girlfriend, Karrie, are down here in Florida (from Maryland) to spend some time with my mom. This afternoon, while he and I were waiting for a tire to be put on my car, he told me that we were all going out to dinner tomorrow night. When I asked why, he told me.
Tomorrow morning he and Karrie are going to Hollywood beach for the sunrise. He hired a banner towing plane to fly overhead with a banner reading: "Karrie, will you marry me?"
I am SO excited! I want to be there to see it, not to intrude on their moment, but just in the general area where I can see the plane. He has promised he will take pictures.
