OT: HELP!! Newsgroups

Can someone help please? For some unknown reason I can not longer download headers or anyother message for that matter into my Outlook Express - one message ONLY and then that is IT. I have called my ISP, been through the "Help" section and I am at a loss what to do. Any suggestions?

I don't use IE, but try this:

Go to Tools -> Options -> Read

There is a setting "Get xxx headers at a time"

Make sure it is checked, and set the number to something like 500. Even if it has the number you want, make a slight change so that you force it to update. Click apply.

Then on the main window try clicking the Headers icon again.

If that doesn't work -- Try Thunderbird. It is a free download, and a very nice newsreader.

Gina, Thank you VERY much! I changed setting ect and it still did not help (and a few other things). However I got the Thunderbird as you suggested and LOVE IT. Again, THANK You!! Paula

THUNDERBIRD ROCKS!

LOL - seriously, you can also use it as an RSS aggregator/reader. Just add the blog feed to T'bird and you no longer have to visit the blogs daily if you don't want to.
