Oh, that sounds like I would really like that. If I go to California I've decided to drive. I hate driving, but the bus won't stop enough for me to get the photos I'll want to take. LOL

Starlia -- Greyhound to San Luis Obispo is the next best alternative. I drove my latest house guest to LA to visit relatives, but it is actually cheaper to bus him back. Less than 1/2 the price of the gas for the trip there, no kidding. If money is an object you might consider that. Gas is truly expensive right now.

But the one I would put on the uppity women CD would be -- You Don't Know Me (stunningly beautiful tune). Now I have to go put the CD on.

Also, since we are talking songs (and I, of course, am talking men) -- while driving through Texas on the way here (where Starlia lives, but still not on topic, LOL) I decided that I was SO SO glad I moved. Because they played Patsy Cline's "I Fall To Pieces" on the radio, and I decided that I was tired of living IN the words to this song, which pretty much described what I was going through in Ohio with the man I ran away from. I am so glad I am here. I am thankful for that, every single day.

And since I am still talking songs, the quote I am using in my sig line, which Valerie just commented on, continues to move me. (In between the moon and you, the angels have a better view, of the crumbling difference between wrong and right). Because who is to say what is right , or wrong, for another person?

Good grief this is funny. Vince keeps hanging out the window to take photos while I am driving, and I make fun of him for being such a consummate tourist. Truthfully, if I were a better hostess I would stop and let him take the pictures, LOL.

There is a lot of that going on around here. All I do is put gas in my car. I drove 4 hours each way to get my friend from the airport, then another four hours each way to take him to LA to visit relatives. It feels like it takes 8 hours to get anywhere, LOL. It truly is nowhere out here, and I am 45 minutes from the nearest town, grocery store, or gas station. 45 minutes of nothing but fences and livestock and mountains. It is much prettier than it sounds. I am pretty hooked on it.
