OT Update on me

I just want to say - being a widow is awful... LOL It's a whole new universe of pain that nothing else approaches - even divorce!

Having said that, I do feel like I'm making some progress... I've already posted a link to my beaded ATCs - that has helped a lot - art therapy!

I lost my part time job Sun, which was disheartening, but I got a FULL TIME JOB with benefits Monday, so YAY!!! I start tommorrow, it's a bookkeeping job, but pays pretty good for this area: any prayers, thoughts, vibes or words of encouragement beamed my way would be appreciated. I know I can do it, it's just first day jitters.

I may have even collected a man friend, we'll see - but it's nice to know I haven't lost all my mojo! LOLOLOLOLOLOL He makes me laugh anyway, and that's a plus...

I did make it thru Thanksgiving with only a brief teary episode... Of course the 30th of Nov is not going to be so good - it would have been our 10th wedding anniversary, and I'm not looking forward to Christmas this year. If someone invited me to the Bahamas, I'm outta here! LOL

But I do feel that I'm finally moving forward, and just wanted to give you all hugs and thanks for your support. Love Karleen

I can't even begin to imagine what it's like... but you are a glorious person, and the sun will shine on you again. I am glad your new friend makes you laugh, laughter is so important.

I admire your strength in all this. I know it's really been tough for you.

I'm glad you found someone who makes you laugh, whether he's a friend or something more. After 22 years, my hubby still makes me laugh about something everyday. I can't imagine having lived all these years without that. It definitely keeps life fun.

Karleen -- after losing my mom, my dad met someone just three months later (who had lost her spouse 4 years previous). They were married a year after that. Best thing that ever happened to him.

There is life after the passing of others. We are required to go on.

MUCH LUCK at the new job, sweetheart. I think it sounds like a real good thing for you.

I'm feeling SO much better at this new job... it was time for a change and it will be nice not to be so poverty stricken... learning how to live a new life has been rough... but friends like you help so much. Love ya, karleen

Just wanted to jot a note that my new job is going well... working a 40 hr week is taking some getting used to, and the weekends are SO short! LOL But I'm thankful, so thankful, to be working! I've been doing some ATCs, but hope to get back to beading real soon. Hugs, Karleen
