Yes, exactly. I'd wear a longer one with about 40 hearts, all clustered on it. That would be more textural than heart-y. ~~ Sooz

You know, I often see "rainbow" sets of beads. I never buy them, because I don't think they work up well into one piece. This is kind of an illustration of that.

Wow -- I so agree. I think that's a very cute concept, but it never looks good (IMO) used in jewelry, so I keep going. (I don't even like the way it looks in a set, without being made into jewelry.) ~~ Sooz

I don't completely agree with this. I make necklaces and bracelets in rainbow fiber-optic, and they're fairly popular. I think it depends on the individual. (And perhaps also on the skill of the designer!)

Well I hardly ever use a whole set in one piece anyway - but I know what you mean. When I see those type sets I think more in terms of what different pieces can I make with these.

Heh! Tell me about it... I thought "rainbow" beads would be a nice idea for summer, but I haven't sold any! Nothing lost, though, because I can just pull the ses apart and make one set of each color beads.
