As of this morning there is a single post there to change my NNTP server settings due to the att/comcast merger.
I am able to see posts here but none over there. Are there any Comcast users out there that are able to still see posts on a.b.c.p?

Yes. Reset your headers (right click on newsgroup listing, local file tab, "reset" button). That should do you. I have over 600 messages for that group off comcast. Of course, my giganews account has over 8000 . I hope this new news server is better than this last one.
if you have a Comcast account you now have FREE access to giganews, you just have to sign up for it thru the Comcast page
