Error in Reflections?

I am putting everything together to work on Terrence Nolan's "Reflections" (of the NYC skyline), but see what I believe is an error in the floss list. The Web site URL printed on the chart

formatting link
is no longer valid, and I can't find another URL when I Google "Dimples Designs". Has anyone come across this?

On the 2nd side of the floss list, there are 2 symbols on the bottom of the column on the left side of the page. One symbol is like a wine glass, the other symbol is a blank, uncolored circle with a dark, colored circle inside of it. Both symbols say to use DMC 3766 for them. Alot of other symbols on this chart show the DMC floss number to use, then, right below them, another symbol shows the DMC floss number with a Kreinik BF number. So I'm sure the 2nd listing (the one with a blank, uncolored circle with a dark, colored circle inside of it) should have a Kreinik BF number with it. But I don't know what BF color to use.

Is anyone aware of this problem? Or, does anyone know of Dimples Design's URL.

Oh, and as if that wasn't enough, I spilled a littel Pepsi on the sheet with the symbols and color list. I wiped most of it off, but managed to extend the spot as I was wiping. And it's sticky there now, too. So, I'd love to be able to get another floss list for this. But since I can't find a Web site for Dimples Designs, I don't know where to go for that. I guess I could write to the address on the chart, but I wonder if it's still a good address?

Can anyone help me? I sure hope so!

Shoot, I guess no one knows about this...... Unfortunately, my mail to the P.O. Box number in Carmichael, CA, that was on the chart, was returned today, "Box closed, unable to forward". I don't know what to do!

Ooh ooh! no sticky wet stuff within a ten foot radius of the chart.

Sorry to hear you're having problems. All I can suggest is that you contact a vendor. Check to see if they have a message board. They might not know what became of Dimples Designs, but one of them may have worked the chart.

The alternative is to fake it. Work it as far as you know with what you're sure of. Then experiment with what you think is right.

some time to work on it. Could the symbol be for a bead? Dora

I finally got a chance to dig out my most recent chart from him and see some potentially newer information. If the PO Box number you had was 522, then that's still the same on this chart. This chart lists a newer website of

but that website is also apparently not operational. I found references to an ezboard forum, but you have to register to see what's in it. It might be worth it to you to register. Even if the forum is essentially defunct now, maybe old posts would have some useful information for you. My chart also has an email address listed: snipped-for-privacy@aol.com.

Hope this helps, Ericka

I always put beverages in those insulated travel mugs when I'm stitching. THat way, even if it gets spilled, very little trickles out. A lesson I learned the hard way.

That particular chart is listed on a couple of online stores, one of which is:

you could get in touch with them and get the information you need from them. I also noticed that 123 Stitch carries Dimples Designs charts, so maybe they could at least get you in touch with the right people to help with your dilemma.

I hope you find what your need or, if necessary, do what someone else suggested and fudge it.

I'll repeat a post you apparently didn't see earlier.

I am local to Terry, and if there's a phone number on the chart, I will be happy to give him a call.

He has seemed to drop off the face of the earth - I'll be glad to hear he's ok....
