I'm so excited! I just looked at the new Hoffman releases, and saw one by "Heaven and Earth Designs" that's gorgeous - "The Golden Wood." But I swear I've seen it before. YES! It's from "The Twelve Dancing Princesses," one of DD's favorite books. We bought it when it first came out in 1990 and we've always treasured it. (both of us!)

So - on to Barnes and Noble to find the name of the illustrator, then H&E Designs to see her gallery, and a web link to her page where one can purchase *signed copies* of the book and posters...hmmm... just in time for DN's overdue birthday gift!

I have no desire to *stitch* this chart, but would love to have a poster for DD and/or DN!

Good for you, Sue. Amazingly, I know several people that have stitched are are doing HAED pieces. If you check out the BAPS yahoo group, there are a bunch chatting on there with their progress. The nice thing with HAED is that their designs on the site are by artist, so you can go back and get info, or link to other merchandise. We have a fair amount of their stuff in the shop, and I recently talked with the boss about seeing what it would cost for us to have some of the charts done such that you don't have to stitch the entire background. It's an option they offer on the HAED website. While in general I'm against putting inventory dollars into designers that are directly selling off the web, we still do it - especially for the specialty ones.

Anyhow, those HAED designs are certainly interesting - a wide variety of tasted.
