I stopped at Michael's yesterday to see what they had left for autumnal decorations and look what jumped into my bag.
Liz Turner Diehl's book, "The Portable Crafter: Cross-Stitch." This is a little 6" by 5" book with 17 projects in it. Everything from acorn designs to a floral bracelet to playing cards and even an English knot garden. Cost is $12.95 and I got to use my 40% off coupon. Too cute. Love it.

Lucky you. Another acorn thing, eh? Coffee and show & tell? You can have your opinion about the hand-dye for the Sweet potato vine. I'm heading into Falls Church tomorrow in the a.m. But, other than that....

I'm trying hard to recover from this cold. As soon as I start talking, I cough. So maybe you don't want to see me too soon. Wednesday night is EGA night stitch-in while everyone else is at Seminar. I'll go if I feel better.
