Need A Pattern

Would anyone have a pattern from Barbara Baatz of the Oriental Angel - I don't know if that's the proper name or not - it was a series. My friend has South American Angel and would dearly love the other pattern, but apparently it is out of print. It's from American School of Needlework. I would gladly pay for it or trade for anything I may have in my stash.

I believe all of the angels have been collected into a hardback book, though I'm not turning it up on Amazon.

Check with needledelights.com, which has become my new favorite NS.

I believe you're looking for Japanese Angel. I don't have the pattern but there are several for sale on ebay. You can probably find more if you dig deeper. NAYY

Just to drive you really crazy....

She also has a Celtic one (green dress, very Irish), an African one, a Russian one, a Nordic one......

Plus the first series of 4: Harvest, Peace, Romance and Fantasy (I've done the last two, and they are just beautiful!).

Thanks Karen - I might have found *her* from another source - but this sure is the place to go for help when needed. By the way I still have that cat chart from Cross My Heart (think that's the company) if you're still interested. I've got so many other charts that I plan to do, I'll probably never get to this cat. If interested, send me an email with your snail mail addy.

At one point I was trying to collect the set, but not trying terribly hard and now the darn things are all out of print!

I have the original 4 non-ethnic ones, the book of six (the one with the Native American Angel on the cover), and the Celtic one. Always meant to get the Japanese one and the Russian one also, but unless I do Ebay (and I will...probably) I've missed my opportunity.

Hopefully The American School of Needlework will put them out as a book!

That's exactly why when I see a pattern I really like, I get it - even tho' I have many many patterns to choose from already. If you ever see the angels in book form, let us know on the ng for heaven's sake. :-))

Thanks to everyone who helped in my search for the Japanese Angel. I have a very delightful lady sending me the pattern and I am so thankful to her.

Hi Karen Isn't Kathy at Needle Delights a sweetheart? It has been my LNS since her Mom owned it and they were in Gulf Breeze, Fl. (pre Hurricane Ivan) I lived in Pensacola, Fl then and when we moved to central Florida and then to Louisiana they were and are my mail order NS.

She is! We've had several phone convos, as well as frequent trading of e-mails, and I just love dealing with her.

While I miss my own recently-closed LNS, I don't miss them quite as much because Kathy's so good at getting me info ASAP.
