Hi everyone! Just got back from ten days in Iowa and feel like I could sleep for a year.
I didn't get any lovely stash for Christmas this year--not even a gift certificate! So I felt it was only fair to order some goodies from Herrschner's after-Christmas sale and call that my birthday present (which is ten days away). DH spent a fortune on himself for his birthday so my shopping was modest in comparison. Most of what I bought are Care Bears kits to make up for DD but also got myself a lovely Silent Night banner by Linda Green and another set of felt penguin ornaments since I really like the ones I've already made.
All of DH's family have real trees for the holidays and I'm quite allergic so I've got another nasty respiratory infection to start the new year. So I guess I should just curl up in bed with my stitching and watch the first season on House on DVD until the ick goes away. Sure wish I could afford to stay somewhere else when we visit them so I wouldn't have to deal with this every year!
