Sort of generalized - I'm way to lazy to google who recommended which book!

For Sherri Tepper The Family Tree - WOW, that was great; I was sucked in by page 5.

For Naomi Novik - His Majesty's Dragon - oh my word was that good and I will ensure that the library gets the next two. The whole world is so "real".

I'm reading The Devil Wears Prada - my favorite librarian recommended it; it is rather silly. But it has me wondering what ever happened to two college dorm mates that wanted nothing more than to work for a fashion magazine after graduation. That said - I don't know the first thing about "fashion" and hope to never care about it. ;)

Hehe. You're welcome. So, tell me. Did you do what I did and, when reaching a certain point in the story, go back and try to figure out if she had given any clues? I've read that book at least five times now and there's really nothing there.
