I like that one too. Drive Through History and Meet the Ancestors are good too. History International used have Time Team which I adored. There was also this great show, Hot Rocks, about the effect of geology on civilization.

I like "The Closer", too. We don't have cable, but a friend who's nuts about it lent me the DVDs of the first season and has taped several episodes of last season and shared 'em. Good stuff.

I watched the first episode of "Bones" because I'm a fan of the Kathy Reichs mysteries they're based on, but the TV show is SO far from the books, I couldn't stand it!

How many watched "Jane Eyre" on Masterpiece Theater last week? Now

I'm anxious to rent the DVDs for the final season of "Six Feet Under." Really enjoyed that show - some seasons more than others, though.

Watched season 1 of "Battlestar Galactica" on DVD, and it was good. I have to borrow season 2 from DD.

And I found FOUR videos of the Sharpe series at the library (used) for $5! So I can enjoy them anytime!

Too long ago for this highly disenthused TV person! If the damn thing broke, and it were up to me, it would never be replaced!

Tried so hard to like Studio 60 but it's just so dull. And then there's Harriet, who is the worst of the lot -- and her supposed 'great love affair' with Matt is so unbelievable and implausible, it's downright painful.

Even the super-weak Jordan is more watchable.

And its such a shame. The premise was great but they just aren't executing.

I liked that initially but then it turned into soap opera about the cops personal lives. I lost interest pretty soon after that. Same as Without a Trace.

I agree that it's not as good as West Wing (Sorkin's seasons at least), but then I didn't think West Wing was as good as SportsNight.

My favorite SportsNight episode was the one where one of the guys kept saying "I'm just going to show up and see what happens." It was great!

If only there were something on radio worth listening to. (Unfortunately, I get lousy reception on our local NPR station, to the point that I have to turn it off because the interference makes me crazy.)
