I tend to think baseball is more watchable than football. To be a really good baseball player a person has to hit, catch/throw AND run. A double or triple play, especially on the part of your favorite team :-)) is a real joy to watch. In football, except for the quarterback, who has to throw (or carry & run) or the "guy who catches it on the other end", the athletes don't have to do much other than be big and get in the way. :-))
One reason I married my husband is that he's not a real sports fanatic. We've gone to a couple of live baseball games and we may watch the World Series or Super Bowl game on TV if the Giants or 49ers are playing, but we can go months without having sports even mentioned in the house.
