OT: Funny SMDGD Story

Jun 29, 2010 3 Replies

I'm sitting here wasting time because I have a whole passel of ladies coming over in a few hours for a sew-in to make a (((Quilt))) for a friend who has cancer and I don't want to start the final mad dash to finish up cutting fabric, etc. Anyway, I got to thinking about the SMDGDs b-day party in May. I was doing something silly (big shocker, right) and I heard one of her friends say that R's GrandMother seemed like she was a nice person. Then I hear Raechel say "Yep, GrandMother is lots of fun and does all sorts of crafts and plays games, too." Then Audrey, her best friend and a mousey little thing, says "But if you're not good around her, she'll rip your liver out through your nose and beat you with it!" Both DD and I nearly wet ourselves laughing at that one :-). it's what I always say to the kids when they are being noisy, etc. -- just doing regular kid stuff but not being naughty. Audrey & R know I am teasing them but I wonder what the other kids at the party thought -- LOLOL??? Aj well, best go start the morning grind and finish getting ready for the ladies. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Glad you are into telling them when they misbehave, that's the most important thing.

Hey - did Geo Bear ever arrive?

C

Still no news about GeoBear. He never made it to DD's but I don't think her addy was included with the paperwork. I hope he made it to Dawne's and is languishing there. From what others have said, she's not communicating with anyone so I assume she's not handling things too well just now and GB's status is low on her list of priorities. The other possibility is that GB got lost in the volcano fallout and we have no idea where he is!!! If he ever shows, I'll let everyone know. CiaoMeow >^;;^<
