OT: Happy dances (but not needlework)

I finished classes today! Happy dances... (This if course means that I get to spend the rest of the week on needlwork. Yeah, me!)

The proposal I wrote over the summer got funded. Happy dances...

I'll be seeing my family in less than a week. Happy dances...

Just a few happy thoughts from the cold north.

Good for you. I was helping a friend grade project reports last night - poor thing - she's already late turning in grades so I agreed to help read the reports and compare. Hey - I do guest lectures - it seems fair.

Excellent.

Congrats on all. I'm happy dancing and hoping not to jinx myself. The job interview yesterday went really well - and they want me to come meet the customers at the pentagon this week so that we can move forward. Considering I had to explain my long break from work as a result of retaliations to my EEO action - it's amazing. So...here's hoping it all keeps working. But, at least I made it through 3 hours of interview - and managed not to get a run in my pantyhose!

Good thing I bought 3 suits - number 2 is going to be used tomorrow. Now to buy more hose. At least the little miracle - I bought ridiculously expensive light support hose from SPANX - they actually fit. Amazing. And were comfortable. All day. And didn't run, or itch or anything. I'm stunned. I hate itchy pantyhose.

So, the good thing is if I get hired - I don't actually have to wear a suit all the time - just the professional dress thing. Yeah. But, we'll see.

Glad we have some happy dances happening.

Happy stitchin' with your time off!

Just that (no run in the pantyhose) is worth cheering, isn't it? Good luck with the rest of the interview process!!

Arrggg. Don't we all? I actually don't mind wearing pantyhose (assuming they fit) and will sometimes wear them under pants instead of long johns. But itchy pantyhose. Yuck!

Thank you.

Don't disasters always seem to come in multiples? Hoping things start looking up for you, Anne.
