re ideas for fun candy freebie

Hi I am running an embroidery class and would like to put a fun candy gift in the kits. Just a small thing with a verse or the like, eg eat the red one when....., eat the blue one if..... etc. Just want an icebreaker as most ladies will never have met before the day.

Thanks a heap Shirley

What about fortune cookies? You can usually get them at asian shops or, if you don't have one nearby, you might want to try a chinese take-away. I'm sure they'll sell you a couple or might even give them to you for free, depending on how good a customer you are already ;-)

I've actually found fortune cookies in the grocery store. Of course this is a university town and we have a huge asian population, but it's work a try!

Or use M&Ms. Women and chocolate are always a good combination :-)

Also you could slip a small poem or a poetry inside the cover on the hershey bars??

See, that's the huge disadvantage of living in germany ;-) Supermarkets that open at 9a.m. and close at 6p.m. or 8p.m. depending on the store and I have never seen fortune cookies anywhere but at the asian supermarket (which is huge and has an incredible variety of... well, everything really. I can even get Milo there *happydance*)

I suggest not using Tootsie-rolls, a friend received one in a stitching kit at a class and broke or pulled off her crown on a back molar!

Why not things like "give the red one to someone whose name starts with the same first letter as yours", "give the blue one to someone born in the same month", give the yellow one to someone whose house number has one digit the same as one in yours" sort of things--things to get people talking to each other for a few minutes??
