Right now, it's the Never-Ending Russian Rooftops, a/k/a Thea Gouverneur's "St Petersburg 1703-2003." Some time in the next couple of weeks or so, I'll take a short break from that to stitch a birth sampler for an online friend's third daughter. Then back to St Pete, and once St Pete is done, I'll start TW's "The Carousel" on PictureThisPlus' "Carnival" hand-dyed Lugana 25.

Oh Darla, that will be lovely! One of my stitching buddies and I made a road trip out to the Picture This Plus shop (it's a two hour drive). The ladies there are wonderful, and the fabrics.. oh.. the fabrics! It's so neat to see the various different colours in person. And to see how the different fabrics take the same dye. Not to mention, it's the only shop I've ever walked into and felt immediately at home. It's a fantasy lovers dream come true! Short of Letha's shop at CATS, it's the only place I've ever been where the fantasy subjects outnumber the "regular" stuff. And oh.. the fabrics.. I'm afraid I bought colors that I have absolutely no idea what I'll do with them just because they were so pretty.

I really like some of their stuff.
These one's really haunt me are
If I can just drag myself away from the computer, I will get a lot more stitching done!! I have just started "The Wedding Gift" for DS (age 40) and his bride to be, Ayako (age 36). I thought that the colors are the US Navy colors, suitable for DS, and the Celtic never-ending knot is a good symbol for marriage. I don't think either one of them is probably too much into lovebirds, cherubs etc.
There are some that are in the not-quite UFO category, but I haven't worked on them for a while. One is Kokapelli, and the other is a DMC kit from Australia of a kangaroo.
Then of course there is a box of UFOs, and a small pile of things that just need a hour or so each to finish, with charms, beads etc.

Ah, that third one you listed, that you have -- I also got that one, and the threads to do it, though I substituted some colors -- like making her hair red and her dress purple.
Now to find time to do it.

No, it had slipped my mind. One of these days I will have to go through my box of kitted up projects, and get to work. I really want to do that, too, because it reminds me of being a kid on summer holidays! When I finish the little sampler, I will get it out!

It only takes a few days (Walmer Castle - senility takes a bit longer!). We were down there a few weeks ago. Had wonderful weather - the channel was as blue as the Mediterranean! Never seen it that colour before.

I change most figures hair color to red -- especially angels. I just picture angels with red hair.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that my hair is red....

Absolutely nothing I'm sure.
Interestingly, DD plays with her dolls, but complains that most are blonde and blue eyed. She wants one that looks like HER - fair skin, freckles, dark (dark) brown eyes and dark brown hair. Not even the "my twin" dolls really come with that option.
