a good day

Today was a good day. I finished my two tote bags and distributed to the happy recipients. I went out for Thai food for lunch and Italian for dinner, had a cupcake (yes, to celebrate my birthday), and got lavished with gifts, flowers, hugs and kisses. And now, I get to buy some fabric online!

WOW, pinch me!

Sounds very good to me! :)

Happy Birthday Ann!!! Diana

That's a great idea, thanks! I have the fabric all layed out to make one more, and I think that's just what I'll do with it!

Great, Ann. Making a tote takes a bit of focus as to which step come where. I thought you could do one easier while the procedure was fresh on your mind. Polly

Well, thanks to all! I had a good one -- my family has been really spoiling me! I got a new baseball mitt (to play with my sons) a funny DVD and a new portable DVD player to take with me to my upcoming chemo treatments! How decadent is that? I can watch Hugh Grant while getting my treatments! ;^)

Anyway, I have an appointment with my oncologist tomorrow to set my treatment plan, and then I think I'll be starting shortly thereafter, so wish me luck!

Well quite a lot! A whole bunch of 1/2 yards of bright prints by Jan Mullen...a couple of pretty 1/2 yards of purple/lavender for my purple collection (I'm hoping to make sort of scrappy double irish chain someday)...a few novelty prints for an I Spy type of quilt I'll make for my youngest at some point...some baseball print fabric to make a pillowcase for my oldest to go with his new baseball WH...and a few other fun things that caught my eye!

treatments! How decadent is that? I can watch Hugh Grant while getting my treatments! ;^)
