An Irish Chain Almost Ready!

Mar 12, 2009 10 Replies

It is with glee and a sense of relief to announce that the Double Irish Chain quilt is pieced and at the quilter's. It is a lovely group of colors. This is a queen size quilt made for a quilt drawing to raise money for the Relay for Life. I coordinated the project and still have to sell tickets, but meantime I am taking a break. Although it is not a finished quilt yet, my part is done, so I am happy dancing Irish Step Dancing. Getting warmed up for St. Pat's Day, too.

Happy Dancing for you, Pat. I sensed that you were not entirely sure that the Chain could be accomplished without some struggle. Good, good for you. Polly

Woohoo Pat. That is great. Kind of cool that you have a Saints day that is yours and that everyone helps celebrate! Taria

Of course the parades are for you, Pat -- who else would they be for? ;)

It sounds lovely! Congrats on getting your part finished, Pat! Pics? Pics? When will there be pics?
