anybody on a fabric hunt?

As I am going through and trying to clear out the stash that has not been used and I can't remember what I bought it for, I figured I'd ask.

Okay, that wasn't such a great sentence, but what are you looking for fabric-wise?? I am sorting everything out and will probably post pictures in a yahoo album once everything is sorted and ready to go to new homes.

I'd be happy to give any stray kitties (of the fabric variety) a new home. I promise they will be in excellent company with my four real cats and untold hordes of cotton fabric prints. Someday I will break out the cat quilt again and see what I have and how much more I need to finish it. Might be something to try hand-quilting on once it gets cold.

ok, so far I need to hunt up cats (not sure I have any left, but will look), yellows, oranges, dots, novelty, and chocolate and tone-on-tone. WIll start looking probably tomorrow night as I have to get the sewing room cleaned up after the latest sewing binge (kids clothing) and before I start on the velvet and satin outfits for the family.

Yes, we will "match" this year just to please my MIL who has stated, "Y'all are such a nice looking family, why can't you just do formal pictures every year? Why do you have to do all of these silly things?" DD and I will be in matching dresses (probably the ONLY time we will be dressed alike), and DS and DH will be wearing matching shirts/ties/vests. IF I manage to get them done on time.

Okay.....will hunt up my notepad and write all of these down with who gets what and will try to get them out ASAP.

We should have a fabric blog for times like this. Oh wait, that makes it a "flog". Let me think on that one........

Larisa, if you mean it, I would love to have some of those "focus fabrics" that have big bold patterns, almost any pattern that isn't sports. Please email me about postage and the like. :)

I am willing to take anything. Color and content do not matter. I am collecting for future quilts. My mind is overflowing with ideas and they are leaking out of my ears. I think I will make a bunch of potholders for Christmas gifts this year using different patterns. I need to try everything because I am a new quilter, not new to sewing just new to quilting. Just let me know the price and include shipping.

I am looking for two fabrics for a "blue" quilt that I am going to make:

1) Two-colored fine to medium stripped fabric. The colors are medium blue and black (or very dark blue). 2) Medium sized medium to dark blue flower with a light blue background.

Thanks, Bev > As I am going through and trying to clear out the stash that has not

Any fruit or vegetable print fabric. Also, "wood" looking fabric. I would be happy to send postage or a FQ.

I have some very narrow strips of wood looking fabric from Hoffman. I think they are only 1", maybe 3/4". Are these too small for you?

At the moment, I've been looking for civil war reproductions (not my usual style, but I've got a couple of projects using those fabrics right now) and baby prints.

What are you looking for Larisa?

That is great. I am making a "jar" quilt and need strips for the shelves.

Thank you. I will email you privately.
