EQ7

I have an email that my EQ7 is arriving today. I can't wait to get it and start playing. This will be my first program but, I have seen some guild members EQ6.

I have EQ6, and even though I'm not nearly as proficient as I'd like to be, it's a lot of fun. Enjoy!

I just got an e-mail that mine just shipped. Thanks to the person who gave the link for Sewflake fabrics!

My email says that mine is due to arrive on Thursday. I am looking forward to having it, although I don't know when I'm going to find to break it in...too many other priorities. I have eq6 and have learned to use about

30% of it's potential (probably like my brain!).

DW received ours yesterday, and asked me to install it. That got me to missing designing, and the group, so I thought I'd pop in to say hello.

Hello.

From what I've seen of v7 *so far* (subject to revision) I'm a little disappointed. I didn't see any of the changes I had hoped/lobbied for, and the changes I did see all had to do with image manipulation, which seems redundant given a lot of other graphics packages out there (many PD/shareware). One hype was "xxx New Quilt Blocks!" Umm... it's a software pkg for DESIGNING quilt blocks - you could *already* design/reproduce any quilt block in the universe... But I'm picky/ snobbish from a designer's POV rather than a quilter who wants to get going NOW (not that there's anything WRONG with that - we're ALL snobs in one way or another). If I sound a little snarky for the ol' Doc, I probably am - still in more pain than allows me to live a normal life of any kind, and that means stifles my ability to design & quilt (the operative word in DDD being "degenerative"), which angers and frustrates me no end...

Anyhoo, I do miss you folks and the activity. Eat some chocolate for me - I'm on a 500 cal diet, and STILL not losing. Did I mention I'm grumpy too?

Doc Oh, the pain... THE PAIN...

PS - I see from this thread that some folks are still having some trouble with EQ. I got pretty proficient with it - even stumped the programmers a couple times - so if I can help...

Hi Roberta,

Have you actually ever d> Good to see you again, Doc! I took your advice about the chocolate,
