Fabric up for grabs - not quilty

I hit pay dirt on FreeCycle yesterday! Went today and picked up a HUGE box of fabric for free!

Tons of great quilty stuff. Tons of felt and flannel.

This lady must have been a costume maker. There is a ton of rayon/satin/poly stuff in there as well as a TON of tulle, netting, etc. type stuff.

If any of you are dress or costume makers and would be interested in any of it - I doubt very seriously I will ever use it and I'd be happy to send it on to someone who would. Lots of red, purple and white....can give you more specific colors/info if you are interested.

I've got a quilting buddy who could use the tulle. She's into making wallhangings with cut up pieces of fabric which you cover with the tulle and then quilt. A lady in her church has asked her to make her one for every month of the year.

Is there a website for Freecycle? I tried

and got a popup saying I need to download a korean script. I didn't, so don't think I went to the right spot.

Wow!

Thank you guys for the prompt response. I hope I replied to everyone, and if I haven't yet, I will very shortly.

I now realize there wasn't nearly enough of that costumey type fabric in that box! LOL I wish I could send you all something, but that wouldn't be realistic. I will certainly keep my eye on the FreeCycle group postings in my area, there have already been several with fabric and I'm trying my best to catch them.

I hadn't thought about "art quilts" with that fancy type fabric and tulle/netting - but I can see where people probably would use that kind of stuff. Just not me, so if I run across some more I will happily pass it along.

Don't know what's going on there then. How big are the pieces I'm interested in?
