Going 'quiet'

Oct 17, 2007 8 Replies

Said 'quiet' not 'quietly'. I'm going to try Quilt-As-You-Go on DD's Plane quilt so I will only be reading, if all goes well . Figure it'll take 2 months.

Don't see me---that's ok---I'll be reading tho.........especially first thing in the AM whilst I'm waking up.

Just a head's up. I'm looking forward to trying this.

Hugs to all of you. Butterfly

When you are finished, please let us know how you like quilt as you go. I have been wanting to try it, but that is one of the things I haven't found time to do, lol.

Good Luck, dear Butterfly! We will miss you terribly. Let us know how you like this technique. As soon as I finish the blocks to my Hug Quilt, I'm going to give it a whirl myself.

Hugs a'plenty,

If it goes like today it won't be to bad. just had to remove 'gopher guts' when the bobbin ran outta thread and the little reminder didn't show up on the screen.. I sure am rusty at MQ'ing.

Butterfly ( will it be done by Christmas???)

I'm doing one now for my grandson and I am really enjoying it. Since I do my quilts my hand though, I had to stop in August because it got too warm on my lap. We're still having warm weather, but I'll have it done in time for Christmas.

you are still my inspiration Butterfly -- everytime I decide to piss and moan over some difficulty, I think of you doing all those PT exercises and pick up and continue --

PS -- I'm still doing PT for tendonitis -- hand quilting always makes it kick up I'm actually down below 140 !!!! --- and still trying to shape up for a week in Fla in Dec. -- there is only so much rose colored glasses a BF can disguise the flab about !!!
