Thank you. :)

I am almost finished the first two of the latest set of five... Sewing on the Strap Traps! I have hems to turn up on three more skirts, and linings so assemble and insert on three tops. Then there are five wraps to do... Delivery has been put back to Tuesday next week. I should get the bulk of it done tomorrow.

Me too! ;)

But the hems are taking about an hour to pin up and hem (outers by hand, linings by machine). The tops take a little longer to get to the handstitching point. Linings take about 15 minutes to sew together, 10 to stitch to the top, 45 to fidget with, and 20 to hand finish!

The wraps will take about 20 minutes each once DH and I have folded the fabric into five and I have cut it (or, more likely, torn it off!).

Most of the work has been in altering the top pattern so that we had three strappy ones to go with the two halter-neck ones, fitting them, and sewing the bones in, and the separating zips up the sides. The skirts were relatively easy, being pencil skirts like the pink ones on the web site, but made of floppy red fabric.
