Let me introduce myself

"Hump" day here for us in the UK now. I just hope it is an easy downhill ride this week - not too many bumps and potholes please.

We might be posting in the middle of your night, but we've been up for hours by the time you get out of bed!! You will soon notice that we have friends from all over the world: Britain, mainland Europe and Australia probably being the main places. Thanks for the details - we do like to get to know new friends. I haven't had time to look at your gallery yet, but I have saved it to look at later today when I have some chores crossed off my list! Hope to see you lots round our 'table'. . In message , Karen writes

Hi Karen.

I missed your earlier post. Welcome to the group. You will find that this is a great group - friendly and very helpful with quilting or any other questions you may have too.

Beautiful quilts. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Great quilts! Thanks for sharing. My favorite is the scrappy 9-patch, but I'm happy to look at any of them.

Be aware that over here in Germany, we are at least 6 hours farther along than you folks in the US. And 9 hours if you're over on the west coast. So mid-morning for me might be middle of the night for you! Roberta in D, Queen of the Scrap Heap

I think for many "The West Bank" sounds less like somewhere to go visit for a holiday that "The West Coast". So, if I was the "ad man" (I'm really not!!!) I'd go for coast too :-)

The NorthWest Coast is actually quite nice right now. Wish we could send down some of our rain, though. :(

I looked and it was doing a non-stop slide show! Jeanne is there! I don't know whether I'm still there. It went too fast for me -- maybe I've had too much coffee instead of not enough!
