my Saturday afternoon project

I love it and have just cut one out in Denim. I have cut lining in some batik that is a bit flimsy so hope the pockets wont drag it down. Maybe I could quilt them to the denim in some way. Just thinking out loud really.

Along with taking a picture of the pockets in my bag for Jeanne.....a picture of my sewing room stash would show that I already know what must be done. Actually, it doesn't NEED to be done.....I'm not sure where I would put it anyway. Just the other day I was looking at my old pictures of my sewing room that are online and I saw some SPACE space?? in the closet. Rest assured there is no room now...and some of it is double stacked. A new picture would be embarrassing.

Here's a link to the picture of the pockets and lining. And if you keep looking, there are pictures of what has been keeping me occupied all summer (and well into the Fall, I'm sure!). And why I needed a break last Saturday afternoon. I'm making about 160 of the little treasure boxes to use as table favors at DD's wedding reception. We will put a chocolate truffle in each one....at least that's the plan now...always subject to change. She didn't like the "Taj Mahal dome" of the orginal pattern, so I foolishly designed a shamrock instead, figuring she would think it was really dorky. Nope. So I'm plugging away. Between fabric, wonderunder, stabilizer and thread....I might as well bought everyone a flat screen TV! Or maybe given one as a door prize! (Where is Polly when you need her??? She would have thought of something VERY clever there!!!) I'll post a countdown with my siggie when I think of it.http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2375387050053918257CNtSIB a blurry picture to prove I do NOT need to replace the fabric I used for my tote bags. Oh dear, now that I look at the comparison of the closet pictures....I need to get some reorganizing done. Or is it sewing I need to get done? Or maybe donating??? I could sneak out in the dead of night and put bags of fabric on doorsteps of known quilters. hehehehe like the zucchini stalkers.

By the Authority vested in me, I hereby grant you permission to remove the Rubbermaid labels. The Feds are Not coming. They've seen the pictures. What a wonderful room. I'd love to join you there. Polly

The bag is super, the shamrock box is splendid, and IMO you are totally off your rocker. 160?? If you wish to be a fabric stalker, please feel free, I won't complain. Roberta in D

Still laughing! By gosh I've never really noticed them! They are off now! And they were so old they would have fallen off very soon. I barely had to tug. Too funny...
