I spoke with Dave Holloway yesterday. We talked about a month ago and tentatively set October 1st as a date for me to visit and deliver a quilt that the HUG list put together. Unfortunately my visit had to be postponed. He owns a State Farm Insurance agency and has been totally inundated with claims from the hurricane. He said he didn't even get out of the office the night before until after 9:00. On top of that he was leaving last night to go back to Aruba. It seems that the judge has set aside all limitations imposed on the three boys. They are free to go anywhere in the world they wish. My heart aches so bad for all of Natalee's family. You all have no idea how bad I want to feed those three boys and that dad to Polly's gators, especially after talking to Dave yesterday and seeing the Dr. Phil show today.
Anyway, at this point all we can do is continue to pray for them and hope for some closure soon. One way or another. I'm not sure when or if I will be able to get together with them to deliver the quilt in person. They have so much to deal with right now that I don't want to press them for a meet-up. I know they need the support the HUG quilt will bring them so I will probably just mail it rather than deliver it in person. I really wanted to deliver it in person so I could take some pictures but we may have to settle for just pics of the quilt. I just wanted to update you all and ask that you please continue to keep Natalee and all her family in your prayers.
Hugs, Mika
