New QI moves in!

Oh so glad you've reported in. I was wondering how your back had done and if you had your new baby in possession. Vanilla ice cream, oh my yes. How adorable. Please do tell us you've removed everything she can get her mouth around such as computer cables, shoes, chair legs and such well out of her reach. Polly

We're doing our best to "puppy-proof" the house -- but my oh my -- she is keeping me busy.

My back is improved... about 50%. Still can't roll over in bed.... but I can get up out of a chair without help. I made the drive (3 hours) but as soon as I got there I popped a Flexeril and slept for a few hours.

I had forgotten how fun (and challenging!) puppies are. But you have to love the little pounces and runs...

Sam isn't quite sure yet -- but his tail has been wagging -- so I'm pretty confident they just need a little more time together.

She is gorgeous......just get through the next year or so and think of the many years you'll have with her.

She's definitely a cutie! My experience w/Labs is that you're in good shape with the chewing for the first 6 months or so then Look Out! All our Labs have been in crates until they are 2 yr old plus when we're not home. They chew for at least that long. The crate becomes the newest decorator item in your home. In fact, my first lab missed his crate so much after he had grown up, that when we had the next Lab and she had to be crated, he squished his 90 lb. body into the small, portable crate we were using at the time!

Glad to hear your back is doing better. Just keep taking it as easy as you can with as little bending as possible.

She's adorable, and you're nuts! But we're the same kind of nutty about furbabies. Kind of tough timing with your back, though.

The vanilla is gorgeous. Will she stay that color?

Sam is still a little reluctant to let her get too close. But his tail keeps wagging -- so that's a good sign. We're careful to keep his lovin' coming, too.

What a sweet baby. She is so cute. I am sure Sam will come around. Our Tucker was not sure about Daisy at first, but now they are inseparable.

I can see that Jasmine hasn't outgrown her adorableness. :-) So glad she was content in her crate last night. Seems a good sign.

Yes....puppies can be quite busy. In a couple three years, she'll calm down. ;-)
