I and a friend are intending to go to Chicago in April '08 for our 1st ever trip to the International quilt show and we figure that it's never too soon to start planning. I need to know a few things before I start actually making reservations. Is staying in a room at the convention center a good idea? Have any of you done this and what was your experience? Which 2 days are the best to go, and where can I get a map and calendar of events?
