OT: and not ....

Hey there, I haven't been around much lately and thought I'd say Hi and let you all know I haven't fallen off the earth. My household is anxiety filled and everybody is walking on eggshells. As a result, my everything is flaring and tomorrow I'm heading back to see my new, young doctor and my DH has insisted on coming along this time. He says 'enough is enough.' LOL Don't you love men? Well, I love this one. I hope he's right, that something out there other than big doses of prednisone will make me feel better.

On the quilting front, I finished a little swap quilt

for a swap atquiltinggallery.com. Despite the poor photo, the sides are straightand it doesn't angle in on one side. It's small -- 21 x 18 or so. Ihad intended the Yuki Onna quilt to be for the swap, but my householdall were horrified that I intended to send it off. So I switched andvery quickly did something different and now I'm back working on YukiOnna blocks and design and actually making it larger than I firstintended. That's what the snail's trail blocks are for, so they willshow up in a later photo. I'm also needing to make a baby quilt forone of my son's best friends. She's due next week and has already beento the hospital twice. they sent her home last night with a big shotto make her sleep. Poor little girl. She a tiny thing, but fortunatelyshe doesn't look to be carrying a big, big baby. So I'm trying to find a good non-pattern for the quilt. I'm using Laura Gunn's lantern tree fabric. Mom doesn't want anything that looks like a 'regular' pattern. She likes random. Sigh. My brain is having a hard time with random patterns right now, LOL.

I hope everybody is well that those who aren't are making it back to health. This economy is just drubbing my household with a hammer and won't let up. If my older son could just find a job ........ Ah well, we're all in the same boat, no? If anybody has a prayer to spare I'd greatly appreciate it being passed in my direction. :)

Hugs to you all, Sunny

Pretty quilt! Whoever the recipient is, is bound to love it.

Men. God love 'em. They always want to fix things. They can't help it. He loves you and wants you fixed. So do we.
