OT: back home...

and from what they tell me... everything went according to plan. I even nixxed the happy juice... I wasn't particularly anxious -- and hate to take anything that I really don't need.

I did need my pain meds tonight -- and the doc says I probably will for the next several days... but I should be needing them less by the first of the week.

Sure hope so.

My TO DO list has done nothing but grow since this started (mid October!!!) so how much can I get caught up with ... and how quickly???

I promise NOT to overdue... and cause any problems. Things have waited this long... will wait longer if I don't feel up to messing with them. Thanks for everyone's kind thoughts and prayers!

I realized when I saw you down at the Grrrr thread ( I think that's where you first popped in) that you had survived today's procedure and was just so delighted that you (and they) had survived. Don't give your 'running late' list a 2nd thought. One Christmas we had a crisis going on and on. I think it was the middle of March before we sort of got caught up. Everyone understood; even those who were afar. Polly

That's great news Kate. Take it slow and steady - you'll eventually get the to-do list under control!

And I would presume those that were "afar" were far away and not actually "on fire"???

Kate, I'm so glad all went well! Best of luck with your recuperation -- and don't even try to catch up. The world will keep on turning if you don't do everything you usually do! :)

Glad things went well, Kate, and you are now home. This is the time to pamper yourself, so don't give another thought to the TO DO list. If you're a bad girl, we'll come raid your stash.
