OT: I've spent all morning with the Insane

Criminees!! This crazy woman ordered 8 FQ's of one print in my E-bay store and I guess she didn't read the title of the darned thing or the discription. She paid immediately and I mailed her the purchase. She gets it and now is having a fit about why didn't I send her 8 YARDS of fabric!! She is claiming that she didn't bid on the item that I BID ON IT FOR HER. Ebay is set up in such a way that you can't bid on your own stuff. It was a BUY NOW item listed in my Ebay store. You don't bid on store items. I have tried to talk to this lady but she just continues to rant and rave this nonsense. She says that no quilting store would charge this much for quilting fabric and all her friends only pay $2/yard for quality fabric. I told her I wanted to know where she shopped because I sure wanted to go there to get my fabric. LOL!! So I need feedback - will you look at

I read 18 x 22 inches of fabric and one fat quarter. Sounds like you are selling *one* fat quarter of the fabric. I thought it was very clear.

Snigs, perhaps after the line you could put a blurb with the definition of a fat quarter in parenthesis, starting with, "For any of you non-quilters, a fat quarter is......", perhaps with an example. The term confused me before starting to read here and looked it up, but when I see measurements of the fabric (18" x 22"), I certainly know that I would not be getting a yard of fabric. Actually, ending the afore-mentioned blurb with "You are NOT getting a yard of fabric" might not be a bad idea, either. JM2C.

Nope. We dyslexics can tell a single fat quarter from yardage, though we may have trouble SPELLING it! ;)

Yup, looks like fat quarters were on offer - in BIG BOLD BLACK CAPITAL LETTERS too!

I don't see how you could have made it any clearer. You were very specific about the measurement of the FQ, so even if a person wasn't familiar with the terminology, the dimensions are there.

It is very clear to me, Snigs!! If they didn't understand the term fat quarter, you gave the measurements which is obviously not a yard of fabric!

Perfectly clear to me! Wouldn't you love to know where she shops to pay $2/yard for quality fabric. Maybe she doesn't understand what quality fabric is, lol.
