But not the way you might think! We aren't quite to the borders yet. I got the blocks sewn together last night. The previous night I put my precut rectangles in pairs and made more blocks....just for fun and to use up my rectangles...not quite all, but almost. Now I'm wondering if we might like the top to be more square-ish rather than a rectangle In the last four pictures in my webshots WIP album I have uploaded a picture of the top sewn together (actually two), one of the top with the possible extra blocks and one with the extra blocks tucked in. I wonder if you can tell the difference online. They seem to look very similar in size. Well, anyway, have at it and see what you think. This is fun having everyone (who wants to) weigh in. My opinion? I think I like the extra blocks a little bit better. With it being a vertical rectangle with the ovals...it almost has a stretched feeling to it. But maybe that could be a good thing??? The thumbnails make it a lot easier to compare. So my 2cents...hard to pick cause they both look great but I think I prefer rectangle. Accentuates the "stretchy" feel you were talking about. Allison

i've been pondering this and wasnt sure with everyone else going square. i couldnt wrap me old brain round that. it seemed to contradict the block shape/look. so glad i'm not alone on this. whewwwww. i too like the rectangle layout best to show off the oval stretch in the block. :-) jeanne
