I've been trying to finish up some small projects before starting anything new. At the end of last year, I made a stack-n-whack quilt using fruit fabric, found in the quilts 2010 album. I had 8 block "kits" remaining, so I decided to make a runner and a set of placemats, found in quilts 2011. I still had 4 repeats of the fruit fabric remaining, so after picking up a bit more of the darker green background fabric, I have just finished piecing another lap quilt. The only fabric remaining from the project is a bit of the darker green (planned). The rest is in my strips and squares bins. I've found a few good fabrics for stack-n-whack quilts this year, often when I wasn't looking!

You are so good about finishing projects. Wish I had some of your discipline. While I was on your site I browsed a little at older projects. The redwork angels touched my heart. Where did you find that pattern?
