Wedding Beachy Quilty Thingy done!

Got it finished with a couple of days to spare and sent it along with friends that were attending today's wedding. I hope Ryan and Ashley have a wonderful wedding and that they like my gift for them.

Debi,

I've been finding myself attracted to Snail's Trail lately, and you may have just pushed me over the edge into making one. If the bride and groom don't like it, I'll be more than happy to talk to them!

That's beautiful Debi - I love the colours, and the pattern is great for a seaside wedding. . In message , Debi Matlack writes

Thank you everyone for the lovely comments. I'll find out tomorrow what the reaction was from wedding attendees. Not that I expect anything negative, I'm just paranoid. ;-) I really like the Snail Trail block a lot and was very pleased with how it all worked out in this quilt since I didn't do the traditional color layout which seems to be the arms alternating colors. I got the wave effect I wanted. Next pet project, Storm at Sea. I swear I'll make one soon!

I'm betting they don't like it. The only solution to save your delicate sensibilities is to send it to me. I think it's just gorgeous. Polly

Debi, I made one Storm at Sea block for our guild's 2008 Quilt Show Raffle Quilt--not sure my nerves could stand to make a whole quilt!! : > )
