Another Ugly Album saved

Remember the album I used to my before picture when I posted my other covered album?

Well, today I am trying to stay very busy. My best friend is at the hospital waiting for her new kidney to arrive and be transplanted. I'm too far away to go stay there, so instead I decided to go ahead and cover that album. Here's how it came out.

Now, I will go make her a card and a tea bag gift, since she's FINALLY going to be able to have a cup of tea again! Hugs, Rach

I didn't actually think the 'before' was that ugly... but the 'after' is positively elegant! Well done... and good luck to your friend.

Wow Rach! That's very pretty. You're really giving me some great inspiration for DH & I's wedding album. I have leftover material from my sis (matron of honor) dress, and some leftover lace from my dress. I really had planned on covering our photo album with it but never got around to it. Now I'm glad because I'll be able to use it to cover our wedding scrapbook! (Whenever I actually start it. LOL)

That's a GREAT idea! I have ribbon left from my daughter's wedding and have been trying to come up with a way to use it. I could do an album for her!

*puts hand to forehead... I see ribbon. I see WEAVING. I see...lots of floors that aren't going to be vacuumed....LOL

I am covering everything now! I did one of the memo books and a tiny wooden chest.

My friend is doing very well. She's been moved to a room and the kidney was up to 2/3 capacity yesterday. I want to see it come to 100% but the drs aren't worried so I'm trying not to.

I'll post pictures of the new items as soon as I get time.

Hugs, Rach
