My scrapping Day

My husband was working and the weather is terrible so I spent all day scrapping and this is what I came up with!

My hubby wanted me to do one of him working so here it is! BTW, he's a structural steel estimator, thus the title.

The last one is for a my album for my favorite actor. (I am so NOT the favorite actor type, but I made an exception!)LOL

And lastly, here's the little scrapping corner I made for myself. Its small, but its a lot easier than taking EVERYTHING into he breakfast room and hauling it all back!

I posted two questions but I'm not sure they came through. I'll wait and if I don;t see them, I'll repost. Hugs, Rach

I like the title you used on your DH page. Your pages are nice. I also like how you scrap your cards, thats different. Thanks for sharing.

Great layouts. I love the title on the steel page. Great scrapping area too.

Rach, I really enjoyed looking at all your layouts. I really like your style and sense of balance in your layouts. The scrapping nook is sweet and that is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture next to it!

I really like the "man of steel"! What a great DH to want to have himself be the subject of a scrappin' project!

Man of Steel Love it!

I'm really starting to slip more buttons into my LO's I just love the look of them . Nicely done. Also what a nice way to preserve your Mother's Day cards.

I missed Hercules and that show looks very interesting.

Your scrapping area looks very functional. I like that you carved out a place to scrap. A place for you to enjoy yourself while preserving your memories. BTW is that a plastic coffee can on the shelf you're using for storage. I just threw one away thinking is was a mighty nice tub I should have saved rather than recycled. I'm going to have to keep them in the future!

The embellishments came from Hobby Lobby. Its a set of stickers in the nostalgia section.I find it a bit difficult to find things that are very masculine, so I grab them when I can. The cards this year were special. They HAD to be scrapped!

All the furniture in that room is (or are...lost here...) antiques from my husband's grandmother, as is most of my furniture. Its wonderful but now that we want a queen sized bed, none of our bedsteads fit! LOL

I keep my scissors in the coffee tub. The fit in it rather nicely standing up. I'm SUCH a recycler! I look at things and go, "Now, how can I use that again." It's a trait that goes rather well with scrapping. LOL

You are very fortunate. I am sure you'll find a way to accomodate the queen size bed despite the size of some of those beautiful antiques!

Thanks, Next time I get to Hobby Lobby I'll look for them. My dad is a retired construction worker, my brother is in construction and I have an uncle who is a retired engineer. It is hard to find embellishments for masculine pages. Sandy

Just printed it out on my computer with a font called Craftsman where the letters are all made from tools! LOL
