My Christmas cards

Nov 14, 2005 10 Replies

Please try not to laugh too hard at my pitiful attempt at stamping on one of these. LOL I think I need practice. LOL I was going for a very eclectic look , but I hope they aren't TOO "thrown together" looking.

I like your eclectic look. And of course I always love stamping. :-)

I like them Rachael. What are the ornaments on them made of? They look like shell..

I love your cards Rach. Those are the kind I like to make too. Did you get the ornaments at Wal-Mart? I picked up the angel one there a couple of weeks ago.

Rach, I love them!! The bright colors are different from other that I have seen nad not what I would have done, err tried!! The bright yellow was very intriquing to me.

What did you make the angel wings with and I think butterfly on anothercard? Is it wire? Anyhow very pretty.

Thanks for sharing!

They're wire and tulle with sequins. (The pictures didn't turn out very well...) I found them at Walmart in the craft section for .50 and thought they gave the cards a little bit of glitter. I left the cords on so people can remove them and use them on the tree.

I sure did! Our Walmart doesn't have a lot in that area but occassionaly you find something good.

Thank you , Dave. Yes, as I said they are wire and tulle. I bought them but now I have an idea about making them.

The bright yellow is really more gold in real life. I think I took the picture in a bad spot!LOL

They look just fine to me... collage cards are meant to be a mix of stuff. I have trouble doing them because I don't want to be messy enough!

hhhmmm.....Rach, I'm not seeing a pitiful attemt at stamping nor cards........Don't put yourself down! I think your cards look really great!! In fact I spent alot of time looking at them, getting ideas. Those who recieve them will love 'em!

I like them! :-)

Where did you get the little angel and wreath charms?
