Easter LO such as it is

Well, I shouldn't even share this. The picture is all I had, and it isn't very good. The journaling is boring, but I wanted to record the names of who was there.

I did fall in love with the bunny as soon as I say him in a clipart collection! He looks so confused, exactly the way I often do after visiting my family! LOL He seemed to fit right in! This is also the first time I have ever used beads like this in a LO, on two sided tape. It really worked rather well, but I think I'll try a different approach next time. Suggestions would be appreciated. As I said, even for me, it isn't very good.

Hugs, Rach

Great LO. I don't see anything wrong with the LO at all. I like how you did the beads thats different and nice. I adore the bunny. We are a "bunny family" love bunnies. May I ask where did you get the adorable bunny from?

Rach, We are our own worst critics. I like your LO. The bunny is cute. Beads are fun to play with. I use sticky tape and wire a lot for beads. Sandy

Actually, I grabbed him off a clipart group on the internet. alt.binaries.clipart. There is a woman there who posts the CUTEST stuff like that!

I've used wire, but never the tape, I think I'm going to figure out a way to put some orange beads I have on a pumpkin for an autumn page...Think plain glue would so it?

I've used the mono glue for beads. Sometimes I put the beads on and use some fine glitter to sort of fill in the gaps. I like the micro beads, too. have you tried them yet? I used them to do the word PROM on Sarah's Prom LO. I mixed glitter in with the beads and cut the inside letter out of sticky tape.

I love the bead ribbon! I wouldn't have thought of doing that and it works great. I'm gonna scraplift that sometime soon, I'm quite sure!

I think it's a very nice layout. Heck, I bought lots of embellishments for an Easter layout and had to work Easter Sunday so I never even got a picture. LOL

I'm with you Melissa! Rach, I love the way you used the beads on your layout. I've always wondered if they stayed put or started falling off after a while!

You did a great job of making your one photo interesting. The bunny was so perfect for that LO.

Rach, it looks good to me! Not boring at all...looks like everyone had a feast! :) Love the "Happy Easter" title. Did you make that yourself?

No, I'm afraid its clip art that I modified by adding the year and printed. I wish I could draw (HA!) or even had decent handwriting, but I am gifted with neither so to the computer I go.
