First paying project

I have a neighbor who asked me before I left to California if I could put a anniversary album together by the end of october. I told him I did not see any trouble, so over past week he has been emailing me pictures.

This weekend I started the album and as a test shot using the digital camera, I shot one page I feel pretty good about to try and put in my webshots.

HOORAY!! I did it and was easier than I thought, but now gotta remember what setting and lens i used s I took several shots and posted the best looking one.anyhow it is in a new album I titled "For others"

Anyhow it is the first that i have actually TRIED to do paper tearing and been happy with the results.

TIA for looking and as I get the album more done or other pages I will have to load them to share.

((HUGS!))

Looks great Dave, thanks for sharing.... how did you get the tinted effect near the tear lines? It looks like you've used watercolours on the edging, am I right? Great job, I love that effect :o)

Thanks all for the comments. I have 16 pages done or near so just since Saturday.

A lot of the pages I used quick kit stuff i had stashed and, NOW YA'LL better sit down, I (horrors!!) even broke into and USED some paper out of one of those beautiful, collectible stacks - eeekkkk!!!

Like i found out with the dumpster or rash can, using them can be a therapy - LOL!!

Anyhow the 'tinting' you see is orange ink pad that I used along the torn edges to match the stripe in the plaid paper. And finally YES MC that really is great stuff!!

As I get time in next few days I will post some more of the pages and let ya know. I have also been trying to wear out my new portable photo printer. have to say it is pretty dang good and have printed over 300 pictures now in a week and got it going still!!

Dave I'm so proud of you. I knew you would find a use for that paper at some point. Now just keep on using it. Have you seen the new stacks at Michaels? They have stickers and die cuts in them too.
