Just in for a few hours

Hi Everyone,

Sure have been missing all the chatter. I have a few hours at home so I thought I would see what is going on.

I happen to click on the scrapbook addresses and realized just how many people are missing in action from our group. I wonder where everyone is. I know a lot went to be with Shelly, but gees there is so many gone. I guess I am kind of missing them. They left without a word. What did we do to them??????? Oh well.

My Mom is really doing well. She doesn't think so because her chest still has a big hole there. Its been a month now and she still isn't healed up. Its open maybe about 2 inches. I am still staying over there with her. She is getting use to me being there and she doen't want to give me up. That breaks my heart because I will have to leave her soon.

My Grandbaby is coming for Easter from Columbus, Ohio for about 3 days. I can hardly wait to see him.

Good talking to you folks. Sure miss ya. Have a great Easter holiday. Hugs Irene

Glad to hear all is doing better with your mom. When my sister had her surgery to repair the hernia across the line from her colon cancer surgery it took six months for the hole to completely heal. She had so much damaged tissue. They said it took so long because it was trying to heal from the outside in - they think the main problem was because it was the same site as the radiation therapy. I'm sure your mom will heal faster than that, but it does take time. I'm getting my grandson from Myrtle Beach for an overnight tomorrow. He's in Indiana visiting his day for spring break. Can't wait for him to come. Have a good visit. Sandy
